HMRC Payable Order

Anyone had one of these for a tax rebate? Got a letter from them saying they owed me tax, which they do, and that they'd issued me a payable order separately. Presume this like a cheque or something and will come through the post. Anyone know how long they take?

It is basically a cheque, and in my experience, fairly quick.

At least if it is through the post it won't be a scam - give us your bank details and we will pay the money in,..... or empty your account!

I echo this - mine arrived within a week, when I was told that I had overpaid tax.
