Anyone else watch that? Very hard-hitting, horrific at times, mainly because of the quality of the survivor interviews.

People virtually forced into making a choice between possibly being drowned or getting burnt to death.

Another example of huge amounts being spent on additional safety measures only after 167 people were killed. Not before.

Didn't watch the programme but remember the horror of it at the time.

I believe Kevin Bremner's brother died there.

I may be rememberinf this wrong, but wasn't a relative of Kevin Bremner working on the Piper Alpha?
