He's attempting to suggest that, because they have three people listed as 'not out', that in fact they have three batsmen at the crease instead of the permitted two.

As there would only be one batsman on strike in any case, his suggestion that this could even be considered as some kind of tactic to improve their run rate is flawed on many levels.

Damn! However, do they have two on strike or two on non strike. Could have a lefty and righty facing the ball at the same time (obviously they would have to agree some demarcation). The idea is, however, fraught with potential problems!
