Expecting mine through the post tomorrow. Can anyone recommend any decent apps?

Not had an iphone since the first ever one so bit out of touch to be fair

Is the Amex app (I guess you mean the one which is the pilot to do with signal etc) available to all and is it on iPhone? Thought it was android only?

Sky Sports Football - Not a bad source of info in addition to others mentioned
Twitter - Best source of info
Audible - Manages audiobooks etc
Trainline - Great for train times / journeys
Time Out - Going out
Pod Cruncher - Great for podcasts
BBC iplayer & iplayer Radio
MayMyFitness - Running / cycling / walking / nutrition app all in one

I use plane finder for work because I need to judge times between plane noise. This is a fab app.
