A few photos from today here. I walked up to Sheepcote Valley just before kick off to get a nice shot across a bit of our city with their stadium in the foreground which just about worked. Best viewed as a slideshow and all of that...

Heh heh.. room for expanding the ground up there eh? It could be the new, old Valley (Charlton) with one huge terrace towering over the rest of the stadium. I got a bit of sweat on traipsing up there mind you so I hope it was worth it?

I think its the Palace lot on holiday!

Very nice shots though, my favourite is the one where the keeper is kicking the ball. Great composition.

I wish I'd taken a camera with a zoom lens, as the 'stepped' dug-outs due to the markedly sloping pitch, would have made a pretty picture

Was thinking that myself they could build a massive stand on that side if ever needed
What with yesterday's sunshine don't think I've ever watched a game of football in such a picturesque setting as some of those pics show

Agree, looks like a very well kept pitch.

I thought Whitehawk were going to use Withdean when we moved out, can anyone tell me if this was this the case and then ruled out?
