Hace dos días, originado en Inglaterra, comenzó a extenderse el interés del Brighton & Hove Albion en hacerse con los servicios de Nacho Cases de cara a la próxima temporada. La llegada de Óscar García Junyent al banquillo de los 'seagulls', que también sopesaron la opción del gijonés Manolo Sánchez Murias, impulsará una remodelación importante en las próximas semanas en el proyecto del equipo inglés, que volverá a intentar pujar de nuevo por el acenso a la Premier.
Lo cierto es que el Brighton está comenzando a moverse para buscar un sustituto a David López, el exfutbolista del Athletic, quien en principio parece que no renovará con el equipo del sudeste de Inglaterra tras la controvertida marcha de Gustavo Poyet, con el que la directiva de los 'seagulls' mantienen un complicado divorcio que ha terminado en los tribunales. Esa circunstancia obligaría a Óscar García, que trata de exportar el modelo de La Masía a esta localidad costera, y que busca 'accesorios' para ello, a buscar otro centrocampista que pueda desempeñar ese rol.
