Thats a seriously shit move for him, clearly not rated by anyone in the football league.

Jake Robinson, fixing a boiler near you soon!

Jokes aside, Im sure hes going to be on a wedge and if he does well next season he could be snapped up into league football again, still a bit of a risk as Whitehawk arent pro and it will be tough for him to keep fit.

Re: jakey robbo

I'm not sure if its a great shop window for a bigger move at some stage, or just him finding the right level.

I'd have thought he could do it at a higher level than Whitehawk, but time will tell I guess.

Great signing at that level if true.

Will have to go to a few Whitehawk games next season when the Albion aren't playing...

You would go and watch a team in the conference south on the back of the fact they have signed a player who has failed to fulfil any potential at every level of the football league he has played at!

May be he has signed just to put himself in the shop window for clubs like Aldershot or possibly Crawley

Didn't he play for aldershot on loan at conference level ? Also couldn't get in Northampton team in league 2, hardly going to appeal to Crawley in league 1.

He played on loan in Div 2 with us as well, but wouldn't take a drop in wages to sign for us.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
He's 26 - not a youngster any more. At that age you have either achieved your peak or are on the slippery slope downwards cf a certain Mr Knight of blessed memory.

Whitehawk is hardly an upwards move for any one of his pedigree

The current Whitehawk squad is probably good enough to play at Conference level but will they get there before the money runs out ?
