water pressure

Swindon, but used to be Manila
I have a branch off from the tap in the kitchen to an outside tap, the line is feeding the dishwasher and washing machine (both are OFF) but the outside tap does not have enough pressure to run a 30 metre hose ( a very small diameter hose). when the hose is connected and the tap on NOTHING comes out the hose not even a dribble, no it is not kinked its brand new an non kinkable.

the stop cock in the kitchen is fully open...

Any ideas how to raise the water pressure to run a hose pipe?

Try to get the far end of the hose below tap level, that way the water must come out. If it doesn't, then your hose is blocked, if it has been stored outside before being sold there could well be a snail in there.

Obvious question but, does water come out of the tap without the hose attached?

Simply close one eye then look down the end of the hose with the open one. Works every time.

another stupid question, but have you put a hozelock connector on the end where nothing's coming out? if so, take it off and check if water comes out. if it does, then the hozelock is an end-stop

Or they have a non return valve in, so attach something to ip the end and it should work
