Come on. Great Albion ambassador.

A Catalan Like the new messiah.

Oatway is history.

Calderon must be his successor.

How do we push this forward?

Over to you keyboard warriors of NSC.

I've been pushing the idea of a management role for Calde, for YEARS.

but not until he's done on the pitch. Thanks.

He is awesome I agree but Shirley not first choice now.

Coach/utility sub player/ ambassador with the kids.

He bleeds blue and white now. And is a fantastic guy to boot.

Show him what he means to the club

I do think we need an 'Oatway' type person, especially as OG doesn't have experience of English football. Not sure calde is right for this role, but would be a good coach/manager in the future.

Do we even know if he has his qualifications? Does he want to coach?

I love Calde and think he has been a great servant for the club (apart from the time when he nearly went to Southampton), however the club has made it clear in the last few days, that we are past "jobs for the boys", personally I want the best coaches out there to move the club forward. If there is a role for Calde then fine, but I wouldn't want him given a job if it means that we miss out on someone better qualified for the role.

..He's a clever chap, wouldn't be surprised if he already had his PSV licence.
Tell him The Albion NEED him to have one, and he'll be laminating his new license in the morning.

I really really wanted Calde to be manager, but I think he talked himself out of it towards the end of last season.

He can't be manager because he's too lovely and a top bloke.

Sir Alex doesn't drive half the team around 6 months after arrival, to 'stop them getting lost'.
Jose doesn't walk out of a hospice and instantly sign up for a triathlon.
Arsene doesn't pack the newbies off to a restaurant they'd like, so they can feel at home.
