It's not unlimited.
They have possibly the worst 'fair use policy' I've seen in an 'unlimited' plan.

Three & Giffgaff are the only networks that offer decent unlimited plans for under £15.00

Virgin have limits on minutes, texts and data.

The minutes and texts limit is 2000 of each (if I remember correctly), which isn't awful, yet not 'unlimited'.
My gripe is the data limit. Once you reach 3.5 GB, they slow your internet speeds right down. They're also considering getting rid of this and just replacing this with a 1.5 or 3 GB data allowance.

If you only use your phone for the odd surf/email etc, shouldn't really be a problem.
I use data on my phone 8 hours a day (internet radio/podcasts/youtube/youporn) so I usually rack up beteen 20-30 GB p/m.

If you're going to be smashing minutes/texts/data all day long, Three (The One Plan) probably comes out top, followed closely by Giffgaff.

I have Virgin and have unlimited data. It isn't a sim only deal, but have been with them for over 10 years.

They're open to lowering that if you push them.

I pay £7 a month for that EXACT deal. As soon as you reach 1gb of downloads, you cannot stream/download any more for that month, but you're free to continue browsing internet sites, facebook and twitter etc.

I've just bought an Iphone 4 for £125 off Ebay, so i'm effectively paying about £12 a month (standard 24 months) for a used Iphone 4, Unlimited texts, 500 minutes of calls and 1gb of downoads. Barter with them.
