Train travel advisor

Is anybody in a position to post the best train deals for away fans during the coming season? In previous years it seems a lottery to find the best tickets to travel. Middlesbrough was more than bizarre in that we had bought tickets early and then in dismay watched the price reduce every day leading up to the match. A 'buy now' flashing post might help to co-ordinate purchasing, if anybody has an inside track on how pricing strategy works.
