If everyone will have a fixture of 'historical significance' then I would guess we will be away to Reading, QPR or Watford. All three were in the newly created Third Division with us in 1920 - Reading were the first we played out of those three and QPR played Watford on the opening day of that season

Thus, I predict Reading away

They used to play Football League v Scottish League many moons ago. England played the R.O.W at Wembley for the FA centenary in 1963 and this year have some ' select ' fixtures.
Don't remember what the FL did for their centenary in 1988? Any offers?

It was the Football League v Rest of the World. The FL won 3-0 and it was live on ITV. Maradona, Lineker and Platini played for RotW.

Thanks for posting these line-ups. So Maradona, Platini, Stojkovic and Futre proved no match for John McClelland, Kenny Sansom, Neil Webb and Steve Ogrozovic. Amazing!
