Gosh... it's almost 50 years ago!

A very neat one-two, indeed, to get Arsenal back in the match at Anfield in August 1964. Some cracking goals in the match here.



A few months later, in November, Geoff Strong ended up joining Liverpool.

Anyone remember seeing him play?

Great clip, thanks for that. I remember Geoff Strong as a Liverpool player, didn't know he'd played for Arsenal. How was the Wallace who played for Liverpool?

I'd also forgotten the original MotD theme music.
