Gus approached by England selectors

Gus Poyet has been approached by the England selectors to explain why cricket is being starved of conversation on a football fan site. Gus, free to speak to our reporter was dumbfounded by constant speculation that he would be signing for Northamptonshire. When asked about the Ashes he became slightly uncomfortable and said that he had never inhaled.

Gus was unavailable for further comment and Club Hero Tony Bloom would not comment on the available budget for new players for this season. He was bluffing on a king high and in the age of immediate news didn't want to show his hand.
