My 8-week old daughter has just had this surgery successfully :clap2: in NZ. Has anyone who has got kids had successful or having cardiac pediatric care in the UK as I am thinking about coming back just to be near family. Any positive advice appreciated.

Great news about your daughter!

I had cardiac stenosis as a newborn (1982) and had two operations in the first week or so of my life at the royal brompton in london to get my valves going. I have been followed up very well by the brompton my whole life up until I moved to Norway. Can't say enough good things about that place. Last time I was there they told me how easy it was to fix my condition compared to how it was in 1982.

I'm sure if your daughter needs it she will be referred to a specialist there so they can keep track of how her heart is doing. All the best of luck if you decide to go back to England.
