The Paramount plans are in doubt now, especially if they put a new Thames bridge in.

They spent months negotiating with Eastbourne Borough, same time that they were gonna build a water park in Newhaven. Both fell through though Borough were at the final detailed stages including a magnificent ground redevelopment.

Depends on the location of a 2nd crossing. The Northfleet Peninsular option is the furthest east of the 3 options being considered. However, there is considerable opposition to the crossing being there because the Paramount Park would bring enormous employment and investment so I very much doubt anything would get approved that will jeapodise that.

As for KEH taking over, I just hope it is for the right reasons and not because they see the development possibilities of the site. Once it's situated between Ebbsfleet Intl station and Paramount Park, you'd think it's worth more to a developer than it is as the home of a small football club.

Must have missed the news but the Newhaven waterpark isn't going ahead now?
