Pictures look like a slightly better version of Mexico 1980. Surely ITV could set up an HD feed? Or is this a taste of what we are to expect next year?

Old school crackles when the crowd get too noisy too. I just want a more muffled telephone line sound on the commentary.

Damn my World Cup history must be bad. I always thought that 1980 was the European Championships in Italy, and not the World Cup in Mexico that was 1986!

I wouldn't worry about next year, ITV probably have a very low key presence down there for a friendly and will more than likely be doing there transmission on a budget using the least amount of bandwidth.

My former employer are doing there lines back to the UK next year and they have some big fat fibres being put in so it should look glorious!
