Why wasnt The Amex considered for staging it much easier access than Doncaster for both teams.

If the venue for the final were to be decided once the finalists were known, I would imagine Reading would have been high on the list, but......

I would agree but there was never any mention of us going after staging the fixture but that is not to say we didnt.
The Amex is closer to Germany than Wembley is, maybe we should have gone for the CL Final too.

Apparently we're applying to host some England ladies game this year.

The difference being the CL final sold 90,000 tickets so hosting it in a 30,000 makes no sense. Whereas the ladies final couldn't fill a 15,000 ground, so hosting it in a 30,000 stadium would be fine.

Doncaster should have locked the gates and told the FA to google off. Wonder if the lowest final gate since 2000 had anything to do with the FA decision to kick the Belles out of the Super League? Doubt any locals would be interested in supporting the FA financially
