Have you stepped outside the front door lately? It feels more like March at the moment!

I always wondered why the programme is so late in the year too, but I think it must be so they can show you all the footage they've filmed during 'proper' Spring and then bring you up to date with live stuff from the tail end of the season. Either way, this and Autumnwatch are two programmes I always really look forward to.

I enjoyed it, although too many cliff-hangers. It's beginning to feel like nature's version of Big Brother.
