Worthing
The sooner we solidify our tax laws in Europe the sooner we can stop people like Google getting away with corporation tax avoidance. While we are at it what about a European army to stop the likes of France and Britain continuing their outdated military colonialism.
Europe really is the way forward......isn't it ?

Does make me smile when everybody gets so uptight that the big companies have found ways to legally minimise their tax liabilities when the same people will pay their trademan cash to save a couple of quid thereby aiding the trademan's way of illegally minimising his tax bill.

yep, everyone is missing the fact that Google and everyone else can shift there money around to the lowest tax rate precisly because of the EU allows... no encourages them to do so. politicians are being very dishonest about it, blaming the companies for using the tax policies they have implemented.

It's a bit of both though isn't it? Trading in spuriously priced and vaguely defined intellectual property, as opposed to say Starbucks coffee is pushing things a bit too far and a matter of subjective interpretation. Equally we need laws to govern this....or an economy which isn't so top heavy with multi-nationals.
