Well we somehow fluked a win last time in Derby but we are now talking about playing one of the favourites for the Title with their panoply of Test Stars of the past and future.

Luckily the weather forecast is as crap as our batting, I'm not saying we will get the draw but it may just last the full four days...:nono:

Anyone know why Yootha isn't playing? Is this to do with the 'personal issues' that he had to deal with in the Derby game?

He is playing for Ireland vs Pakistan in a ODI in Dublin.

As a Player obviously losing an International game would be far more important than losing a County game.

Sussex team
CD Nash*, LWP Wells, MH Yardy, RJ Hamilton-Brown, MW Machan, JS Gatting, BC Brown†, CJ Jordan, SJ Magoffin, JE Anyon, MS Panesar

Somerset team
ME Trescothick*, AV Suppiah, AN Petersen, JC Hildreth, JC Buttler†, PD Trego, AWR Barrow, AC Thomas, J Overton, MJ Leach, SP Kirby

No comparison between those lineups eh?

Somerset so confident they can leave out their World Class Batsman/Wicket Keeper.....

Nash plus that middle order could do some serious damage to those short boundaries at Horsham*

*if they weren't all shit, obviously.

Robbo is obviously confused and because they're at Horsham he thinks it is a Pro40 or T20... Wright/Prior for Wells/Yardy and we could have a whole team of SLOGGERS...!!

Somerset 42/3

Magoffin has taken three wickets (somehow) but Trescothick is still there on an ominous looking 19 not out.

what is going on?
43/4. Trescothick on his merry way to an inevitable century while his team-mates play around at the other end. 300 will be plenty for a Somerset innings victory but I guess they'll target maximum batting points first.
