Just a thought, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Pardew given the hoof, and Gus appointed at Newcastle this summer, with maybe a couple of 'ex Brighton players' joining him.

nothing to substantiate, just a feeling.

Can't see it. The Newcastle chairman isn't like other chairman- he just wants to break even and have an easy life. Also, there is no way he is going to pay off a 6 year (or whatever it is) contract.

Apparently there's a compensation clause, that limits it to 6 months.
