David Beckham, Micheal Owen, Philip Neville, Jamie Carragher, Paul Scholes - all now retired.

Would you fancy our club being a risk for their first managerial post? ??? (Hypothetically of course that they want a managerial role).

40 Manager Qualifications

40.1 Subject to Regulation 40.4, with effect from 1st August 2012:-

40.1.1 all Managers in the Championship must hold a minimum of the UEFA A Licence and be working towards completing the UEFA Pro-Licence within 3 years of appointment or 1st August 2015 whichever is the later.

40.4 Where a Manager at a Club held the role of Manager at a Club or Premier League Club on or prior to the 10th June 2011 then that Manager does not need to comply with the provisions of Regulation 39.1 must instead hold the Football Association Coaching Diploma.

Do we know if any of those qualify.

If even 25% of the past week's allwged shenanigans have any substance then we need an experienced man at the helm, with a strong character and fruitful insight. A clown like Beckham and his circus entourage would be the last thing we would need if Poyet were no longer running the show.

none of them

beckham would be amazing but he's probably going to run his own mls franchise at some point...don't think coaching interests him

owen is one of the dullest men in sport..doubt he'll stay in the game apart from media work (eek)

carragher will do media work...probably giving expert opinion in his incomprehensible accent

neville probably will go into coaching, but as an assistant first

not sure about scholes...don't think he'll stay in football

But if we can at least kill off some stupid rumors with facts it will help!?

For instance Phil Neville cannot manage here as he only has a Uefa B licence.....

David Beckham doesn't have any coaching qualifications so he is out too.....

Carragher is going off to work for Sky

Owen will surely go off to look after his race horses.

Do we really want managers like these, all the media will do is ask them questions about Man utd, Liverpool.

A lot of our fans were fed up with with Gus and Chelsea. I suppose any high profile manager that has been in premiership is going to be the same.

Owen will be spending more time on horses than football

DB has said on loads of occasions he doesn't want to go into management

Carra has a sky contract so that's him out of the equation

Neville will probably manage a youth team or get a job as an assistant first

Scholes said the other day he would like a team of his own, my bet would be he will start off at Oldham.

Wise guys realise there's danger in emotional ties.

If you're happy with a nappy you're in for fun.

(Could be suitable for cleaning up after poogate).

See post 215....where I posted an article saying that Henry is contracted till 2015, and is going to honour his contract.

Oh yeah. Fell on deaf ears, cant let the facts get in the way of a good rumour:lol:

Or some really crappy ones......

My aunties, dogwalkers, sisters, hairdresser mentioned that Roberto Baggio has a cat 1 Uefa licence and left his job as Director of the Technical Sector of the Italian Football Federation.
