So given the events of the last week, can we afford to mount a credible and sustained challenge for the Premiership?

Can Bloom bank-roll better players than those that failed this season?

If he can, can he afford to pay the fees and salaries to keep us there?

Or do we revert to our historical destiny - somewhere stuck in League One?

Like Wigan.

Never have been,last season we should have spent £10m plus on fees,the stadium gets paid 1st
