In Charlie Oatway's column in the programme the other night, he said that Bridgey had asked him to be best man at his wedding, and Godfather of his Son/Daughter when he/she arrives. I could be being overly optimistic but It could mean that he wants to stay here and settle down, and continue to enjoy his football. Then again, it could mean nothing.

If I was a footballer I don't know how I'd be able to play for laughing so much at the japery and BANTZ of many of my fellow professionals. They must literally LAUGH non-stop, all the way to the pitch, then start laughing as soon as they leave it, what with all the hilarious jokes and tricks.

Not sure but it sounds like Charlie having a laugh ...thought Wayne was best mates with John Terry (oops)! On Late Kick Off they said it was James Beattie from their days together at Saints when they started their careers? Would be great news if he stayed but his wages would be the main issue.

It doesn’t mean anything anyway because when the vicar asks ‘If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together – let them speak now or forever hold their peace’ and I run in shouting ‘Frankieeeee NOOOOOOOOOO I love youuuuu’ she’ll be off with me in a flash…probably.
