There's probably been one/several threads about this already, but it was the tactics that lost us the game last night. We set up way too defensively and once Palace got a goal it was obvious we wouldn't get back into the game. It's happened so regularly throughout this season as well, if we started our attacking players from the start, even if we did concede we might have a chance of outscoring the opposition. In what was effectively a cup match Holloway got his tactics spot on.

The way we played last night, Gus was more concerned about not losing than winning.
He has been great for this football club, of that there is no doubt. However, sometimes he worries too much about the opposition, showing them too much respect instead of doing what we do best and going for the win. Last night was one of those nights.
