It's a police day out at the seaside. At lunchtime various colleagues reported seeing a Hampshire Police van, and Horse Transporters from both South Wales, and I think he said Hertfordshire as well

saw an old lady raise her umbrella when a man in attire that could be interpreted as slightly offish of Palace colours, but without crest, was seen walking towards the village newsagents.

Police have arrived now and all is calm. I knew Laughton would be a flashpoint.
