16 Aston Villa 37 -22 40
17 Sunderland 37 -12 39
18 Wigan 36 -23 35

Remaining games:
Arsenal v Wigan

Wigan v Villa
Spurs v Sunderland

It seems to me that Wigan have to beat Arsenal. Well actually they have to beat them to have any sort of mathematical chance, but if they do I think they'll go on to stay up because there is no way Sunderland are going to return from Spurs with anything, and I can't see Villa beating Wigan on the last day.

No, although if they do it will almost certainly be at our expense, so it's remotely possible.
If it wasn't "us or them" I'd be cheering for Wigan.
I have long thought Martinez a very good manager but if he keeps them up he's even greater than I think he is.
I hope he doesn't replace Pardew.
Good Luck tonight!

Not a hope in hell. They will be emotionally and physically drained still from the Cup Final when the play The Arse tomorrow and will get mullered and relegated.

I must admit I can't a Wigan win. It's not as if Arsenal have nothing to play for themselves is it?

I think they will get beaten by Arsenal and from memory be the first team to WIN the FA cup and get relegated

Not a chance. They have to beat Arsenal and Arsenal just aren't conceeding goals anymore. Koscielny and Mertesacker are now a very good partnership.

It's a shame, but Wigan are gone.

No realistic chance of them staying up.

However, IF they beat Arsenal, then I reckon Villa will be very worried.
