Will Mike Ward be doing a column in Monday's programme saying the Palace rivalry is 'sad'?

His book is an embarrassment not only to this football club but football fans in general so I can well believe he said that.

His weekly slot on Talksport suggests Not.

He's got it, he's one of us.

That's okay then. Redemption is a marvellous thing.

To be fair, most fooball rivalries are a bit sad, aren't they.

In fact cheering on 11 blokes who aren't from your city to kick the ball in the net for your city is a bit sad.

And singinig songs about how great an 18 year old is at kicking said ball when you are much older than him is also a bit sad.

Actually, football in general is sad.

Not really sure where I'm going with this.....
