even if it was a long time ago, pretty sure you'll remember it

mine was feb 76 at the Goldstone, night match 33k

a brace from Sammy Morgan in a 2-0 win

I was right behind the North Stand goal and clearly remember one of Sammy's goals,a simple side-foot home from about 5 yards out

the atmosphere was incredible, but I wasn't really aware of any "special" rivalry that night

having not attended the "friendly" or the opening game of the previous season

will always hate them, the sicking feeling in my stomach for the last 15 minutes watching their fans lord it over us will never leave me!

Think that was my first one as well. I was in the East. Wasn't that the first time we sung "Seagulls" in response to their fans singing "Eagles" in the South?

Mine too. Stood in the Chicken Run, next to a group of Palace fans. Fantastic night.

1978 Palace 3 - Albion 1. Vince Hilaire scored twice, was in with mixed Palace and Albion fans in the old Whitehorse terrace, which was pretty lively.
