Where you say most rivalries are meshed together by geography but this one falls into neither of those categorys, what's the other one?

Very good, but I wasn't that the Stamford Bridge cup tie the 3rd game due to a draw at the Goldstone and another draw at Selhurst in the reply?

The rivalry started on 12 January 1963 when Albion fans kicked the head off a snowman that Crystal Palace fans had built in the cold conditions. It wasn't forgotten and Palace took revenge some ten years later at a 'friendly' at the Goldstone, causing quite a lot of trouble.
