You can buy a weekly ticket in the new bus shop in North Street
If you need to do this reguarly get a "KEY" here Login to the key - Brighton Hove Smartcard and then buy tickets online

I love a Brighton bus. Great for a motorised pub crawl.

But Shoreham to Woodingdean on the 2A is upwards of an hour

The new m-tickets are bloody brilliant. Even 1-day savers are £1.10 cheaper than paying cash.

When they start doing cheaper single journeys on the electronic tickets as everywhere else seems to manage, I'll agree. Until then, for anyone who lives in town and only makes the occasional journey when it's not practical to walk, they remain a complete rip-off.

Under 19s can travel with a BusID card.

Ages 5 - 19 with busID get the following discounts:

travel for 30p - for any one-way journey, anytime, any day, when travelling with an adult. (up to 3 busID holders can travel per adult)

travel for just 60p- for any one-way journey at weekends, designated school holidays and after 6pm on schooldays when travelling alone

child fare - (half the adult fare) on schooldays up to 6pm when travelling alone

reduced rate SAVERs - 1 day SAVER £2.00 (from this website or from 1 Stop Travel)
1 day CitySAVER £2.30 (from bus driver)
1 day Explorer £5.00 (from bus driver)
7 Day SAVER £10 (from bus driver) or £9 (from this website or from 1 Stop Travel)
90 Day SAVER £85 (from this website or from 1 Stop Travel)
12 month SAVER £275 (from this website or from 1 Stop Travel)

The £9 deal for a 7 Day SAVER looks to me to be the best weekly ticket on offer to a young person aged under 20.
