Wolves visit the Amex tomorrow for our final league match of the season. The match is sold out, although there are tickets available via the ticket exchange. Visit seagulls.co.uk or call the ticket office on 0844 327 1901 to purchase one of the few remaining seats for the game.
Kick-off is at 12.45pm, so the stadium will open at 10.45am (with Dick’s Bar open from 10.15am).
Supporters will be entertained by a Samba Band before the game while a one minute's applause will take place immediately before kick-off in honour of former Albion midfielder Tony Grealish, who sadly passed away last week.
Please make sure you allow plenty of time to get to the stadium, particularly if you use public transport through the city centre, as the opening event of the Brighton Festival takes place this weekend, meaning there will be some disruption to transport services: trains are likely to be busier than usual and there will be changes to bus services throughout the morning.
There is car parking available just a few minutes' walk from the Amex on a match-to-match basis, at the Bridge Car Park and University of Sussex for all home matches. Book parking online for £13 per game – for further enquiries please call the Customer Services team on 0845 873 0251.
For all the latest team news, travel details and any further match information will be available at www.seagulls.co.uk, on our official Facebook page and via the club's official twitter feed @OfficialBHAFC.
Season tickets will be on general sale after the match. So if you haven’t got one yet, and want the best pick of seats available, pop into the ticket office after the match and secure your seat for 2013/14.
Please note that tickets for Albion’s play-off semi-final home leg will NOT be on sale in person at the Amex Stadium or the Queens Road ticket office tomorrow.
Final Whistle!
We ask that you respect the fact we have a very important match here next week – either Sunday or Monday, depending on our semi-final opponents – and ask that all fans stay off the pitch at the final whistle. Gus Poyet and the squad have purposely not trained on the pitch this week, to ensure that it remains in the best possible condition for Saturday’s game but also for the semi-final home leg.
Please stay in your seats at the final whistle, and just as they did last season, the staff and players will return to the pitch to show their appreciation for the exceptional support you have given us this season.
Special Pie!
Due to popular demand, the guest pie will be the Chilli Pie, as voted for by the Albion fans via the Facebook poll. Remember that these specials are limited – so if you wish to sample these special pies, make sure you get to the Amex early to avoid disappointment! We will also have jacket potato meal deals available again in the West Stand lower, kiosk 2, and East Stand Lower, kiosk 2. The pie-and-mash kart will be available in the West Stand Lower; pie, mash, peas and gravy with a pint for £9 or £6 without a drink. Please note, the kart will be cash only! Marsten’s Pedigree is the guest ale while Dark Star will be available via the mobile united in the East Stand Lower. Fans are advised to arrive early.
Get Your Copy of Seagull
This weekend’s matchday programme is a FA Cup Final 30th anniversary special, with 32 pages of Cup Final content, including interviews with Gary Stevens, Gordon Smith and Chris Ramsey, the Road to Wembley, that helicopter ride, plus previously untold behind-the-scenes stories from the big day. Former team-mates and ex-Seagulls boss, Mike Bailey, pay tribute to former Albion midfielder Tony Grealish who died last week. Rewinding the clock 30 years and Focus On features ex-skipper Steve Foster, while Ashley Barnes looks ahead to the play-offs and reveals how team spirit has helped the side to the play-offs. Gary Dicker reflects on a difficult week and predicts a tough game against Wolves.
