Pox internet connection at T'Amex, so my trusty Lloydtron transistor radio will be taken along on Saturday for the flurry of late goals and heart-breaking position changes that will define some club's seasons (but not ours ), emanating from BBC 5Live, on AM of course

Ah, bring back the old days. Will be reminiscent of 1991 when word spread round that Barnsley had scored and we needed alate goal.

Actually quicker than the internet as well of course.

Pity they can't stick up goal flashes on the screens. Maybe they could have Bob Booker and Warren Aspinall in a Sky Soccer Saturday type situation.

Last time I brought a radio in to ESU, I couldn't get a signal on that either :-(

Interesting that such a state of the art stadium has created a sort of pre-lapsarian environment in terms of being able to actually get other scores during the match.

Some providers work fine, others don't, it's often the same all over the country. 3 works fine, with 3G in most places I've tried, Vodafone seems to be OK in the West Stand too.
