Wife out, so treated myself to an old favourite, washed down with a few bottles of Bulmers.

Anyone with some decent recipes?

Just lightly fried in flour.
Onion gravy with teaspoon of Colemans English. For a touch of the exotic add a dash of Balsamic.
Mash & peas.

Dessert is bread to soak up the gravy on the plate.

Caramelise the onions and add mustard to the gravy, other than that, keep it simple in my opinion.

This, but boiled potatos with butter & black pepper, then "mash" the spuds manually with fork into gravy

I had that last night, lightly coated the liver in flour and fried up with the onions, bacon and mushrooms.

I even added a stuffed Lambs heart to the menu, which incidentally tastes as shit as it sounds.

You can't go wrong serving liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Coincidentally I am having Toronto Seagull for dinner tonight........

im going to go with that, but minus the lambs heart as that does sound awful. I may make my own Cider Gravy to go with it.
