Yes and when Gus came here we finished 10th....next season we promoted....last season we finished 10th....this season.....?

The comparison ends there. We were a very average side in 2004 and still got through the play-offs - shows what a lottery they are.

Absolutely - in fact we were second best in all three games, and still got through.... well, especially the Swindon games, but we weren't terrific on the day in Cardiff either - but we won so who cares?

I think Brian Owen tweeted earlier that it's something like 1998 the last time the 4th place team won the Championship play offs (it was Charlton, whatever the year was).
