Albion will play at The Amex in the second leg of the play-off semi-final
* Albion will get the second leg home advantage they wanted in the semi-finals of the Championship play-offs.

* But they still do not know whether they will be up against arch-rivals Crystal Palace.

* Palace's 0-0 draw in their game in hand at Millwall tonight means the Seagulls are effectively guaranteed fourth spot, their highest finish for 30 years.

* Palace are three points adrift with a goal difference of +10, compared to Albion's +24.

* Albion, at home to Wolves on Saturday, will face Palace, Bolton or Nottingham Forest in the play-offs. Palace's point has removed the possibility of the Seagulls meeting Leicester.

* The play-off dates remain unresolved, because Forest can still finish fifth.

* The dates for 4th v 5th are Friday May 10 (7.45) and Monday May 13 (7.45) but Forest have been prevented by police from playing a home leg on May 10 at the City Ground due to a rugby fixture clash at nearby Meadow Lane.

* It means Albion's dates could yet be switched to those set aside for 3rd v 6th on Thursday May 9 (7.45) and Sunday May 12 (12.30).

* The situation will be resolved by the final fixtures on Saturday, when Palace host Peterborough, Bolton are at home to Blackpool and Forest entertain Leicester.

* Palace are two points above Bolton and Forest, whose goal differences are +8 and +5 respectively
