YOUR Championship team of the year

Did a blog on this subject this morning (not included any of the players picked by the PFA team).

Ended up with:

GK: David Marshall

LB Stephen Crainey
RB Chris Solly
CB Scott Dann
CB Danny Shittu

M: Liam Bridcutt
M: Jacob Mellis
M: Nathanial Chalobah

LW: Robbie Brady
RW Chris Eages

CF: Jordan Rhodes.

So who would be in your team? Amazed no Bridcutt or Chalobah in the PFA pick - which also has three wingers playing in a midfield four...

Anyone bored, my blog can be read HERE... There are some Albion players who just miss out.

I'd go with the MotD one linked to on here on Friday, bar one of the CBs

If I remember rightly that one had both Bridcutt and Chalobah in didn't it? How those two missed out on the PFA one is anyone's guess.

Kusczcak
El Mohamoudy , some Hull CB, Turner, Bridge
Ince, Bridcutt, Chalobah, Zaha
Murray, Vydra

I don't watch enough of the other teams in any way to make a proper decision.

For example I got stumped at right back. I can't even name 6 right backs in the Championship. I could name all the prem ones.

It's a joke no one (let alone the PFA/MOTD people) haven't picked the Cardiff midfielder Kim Bo Kyung. Been one of the best players in the Championship winning side (according to the Cardiff fans I know) and he always looks quality on highlights and when they play on TV.

Now that's just wrong.

My point is I naturally watch more of all the prem teams than I do of all the Championship teams if Brighton aren't involved.

We can all name the Man Utd team. Can we name the Cardiff team off the top of your head or the Watford team? I guess a lot can't. It's only natural to know more about what you see more often.

How am I meant to know who the best right backs are in the Championship?

I agree with you. What I joked about being wrong was the fact you know ALL the premiership right backs. I suppose I also watch more Championship games than I do Premiership (not that I remember many players).

Byram - Hudson - Morgan - Bridge
----------- Bridcutt - Chalobah ----------
Ince ------- McGugan ------ Lopez

Suprised many haven't included Byram from Leeds?

former Tottenham lad who got racially abused in the U21's. Can't remember his name but it might be Rose.

He's a left back and has been brilliant for them.

Of COURSE it's ANGEL RANGEL at Swansea. Very annoyed for forgetting him!

I have a feeling sunderland dont actually HAVE a right back. I remember both Larsson and Colback playing there. Do they still have Phil Bardsley?
