A bit early but I thought this team up before we played Leeds:

Team v Wolves :

Ankergen
Calderon El Abd Dunk Painter
Dicker Forster-Caskey Crofts Lualua
Vicente
Barnes

Subs: Agdestein, Barker, Kuszczak, Bridcutt, Upson, Bruno.

If we played Harley, somebody might call foul. Eight players featured against Leeds with five in the starting line-up.

With that sort of team we would draw 1-1 up until the 89th minute, and if Palace beat Posh 4-0 and Barnsley win at Huddersfield, I still wouldn't think that Wolves would get a goal in the last minute!

In defence of that team selection, it is a better team than the one that beat Southampton 3-0 last season. BBC Sport - Brighton 3-0 Southampton

I know many other readers will miss the point that you thought this team up BEFORE Leeds, so just wanted to highlight that point...cue the next poster saying: "Calderon is suspended"

Are you mad? We want 4th spot so we have the play off 2nd leg at home and need to keep the momentem going.

If Palace fail to beat Millwall, I believe 4th spot is secure anyway. In this event I would rest TK, Bridge, Bridcutt, Ulloa, Buckley, Lopez....So

----------------------------Ankergren---------------------------
El Abd-------------Greer----------------Upson-------------Painter
------------------Hammond---------Crofts-----------------------
Lualua---------------------Vicente------------------------Orlandi
---------------------------Barnes------------------------------

Hardly a weak side.

I don't want Gus to make too many changes and end up losing the momentum of our good recent form. A big victory against a beleaguered Wolves would be the perfect way to warm up for the play-offs.

It all depends on the result of Millwall vs Palace.

If Palace win, the albion team on Saturday will be very different to the one if Palace lose or draw.

By 10pm on Tuesday, we'll know which way it will go.

I think the team selection will depend on the Millwall v Palace game. If Palace do not win, then 4th spot is ours, unless they score shed loads against Posh.
If the result does not matter to our 4th place on Sat, then i think he will have a strong bench.
Casper, Lua Lua, El Abd, Dicker and Painter might play. Bridcutt, Bridge, Leo, Buckley, Orlandi, PIG and possibly Spanish left out or benched.

if palace dont win on tuesday, bar massive goal difference swings we are 4th and wolves are down. whats the point in risking injury to our best players when we dont need to? who gives a sh*t about affecting a relegation battle, look out for no.1!
