Oh come on...Dream Theater are the cheesiest band of all time! Proggy wankathon. I do enjoy them as a guilty pleasure sometimes but they make me laugh more than anything.

Yeah there is a cheesy element I'll admit. But although self-indulgent they may be, they are all virtuoso musicians and play many styles in their music. Oh, and John Petrucci is an AMAZING guitarist.
Btw I think that they can't compare to bands like Journey and Styx for instance. They are the real masters of cheese!
