But... but... The Avengers are from the Marvel universe, and Batman and the Green Lantern are from the Justice League which is in the DC universe...

Something doesn't add up here

There were five fights that were voted for by fans, three went to marvel. There were six other duals, not sure how they turned out, but two cosmic powered heroes created an amalgam universe that merged the characters (e.g. Batman was merged with wolverine to create Dark Claw).
