Boxer Beat blasting out in the Shakespeare before the game magic day

As a massive Jam fan, The Style Council - Speak like a child ( as it was the first single after the split up ) reminds me of the semi final game more than than any other in the chart at that time, I remember buying it at Woolworths in Southwick square on the Saturday morning of the biggest game in Albion history

I remember each and everyone one of those, and your 'bubbling' ones. Worthing was the place, Rose and Pose... golden days for footy and the charts!

I only remember about eight of those records - it was about this time that I started losing all interest in pop music and, looking at that list, I can see why. I was 26 then and I'd even stopped buying NME.

Staggered about Total Eclipse though - thought that was much earlier than 1983
