With the season approaching its exciting climax it is now time for Albion fans to select their Player of the Season.There have been numerous outstanding candidates this season throughout the Albion squad, and now it is time for supporters to decide on their favourite player of the 2012/13 campaign.
To vote for your ‘Player of the Season’ e-mail your choice to playeroftheseason@bhafc.co.uk, or alternatively post your nomination (marked Player of the Season) to: Media Department, Brighton & Hove Albion, American Express Community Stadium, Brighton BN1 9BL.
The closing date for entries is 5pm on Wednesday 24th April.
Liam Bridcutt scooped the award last season, and was presented his accolade at the Players’ Awards Dinner. Once again the winner will be handed his honour at this season’s gala dinner on Tuesday 7th May, where there are still spaces available for fans to attend.
The event, hosted by Mark Clemmit and Hayley McQueen, will include a champagne reception, three-course dinner including wine (view menu) and will provide an opportunity for supporters, club directors, management team and players to celebrate what has been another fantastic season at the Amex. The evening will also include an appearance from Brighton-based comedian Stephen Grant.
The Players’ Awards ceremony will begin after dinner and guests will re-live the stand-out moments from the 2012/13 season through a selection of specially-created videos for the night in the company of Gus Poyet and a number of his players.
