Obviously attendances are really boring etc etc, but Simon Jordan is just patronising Posh's chairman on the Footballers' Football Show. Simon explains that Palace are not able to make a profit like Peterborough because a club like Palace expect to be in the Premier League:
'You've got 7,000 crowds, Palace have got 20,000 crowds.'
Actually the averages are 7955 and 16987, and that's only because Palace have had their best season in years and done Groupon deals.
And the con has worked - Simon's convinced David Jones (Sky's host) that Millwall's average attendances are around 11k, compared to Crystal Palace's which is up in the 20s (and he means the 20,000s)
