I think the FL decide the allocations so everyone has the same. I might be imagining it but I think all away teams are given 3000 wherever it is

Rubbish. Swindon never got 3,000 at withdean in 2004.

Not sure of the relevance of that but I'm pretty sure the FL determine it

No chance, the OB override any FL rules, we would get 2600 imo

The relevance was that you stated that all away teams are given 3000 tickets.

Maybe it is rubbish but it would seem reasonable for the FL to mandate something, or perhaps the clubs do just get together and figure it our for themselves?
