When they were behaving naturally their characters were funny and endearing.
They realised the reason for their popularity and now they are playing up on it far too much and have become tiresome bores.

Almost yes. It has just become a bit in-jokey now. Still a good watch though and has stood the test of time reasonably well considering how long it has been running now
I would love to see Angus back. I know he was dropped because he had become the focus of the nbews but that does all seem to be a very long time ago now. I wish the producers would take the step of just getting him back in for one show to see how it went.

I once met Brian blessed whilst out walking a friends dog........ another dog came along and leaned against me looking for some affection...... when a voice bellowed.... 'Humanoid, he is using you as a prop!'....and then went off grumbling....... fellow is mad!

I think the others were a bit fed up with him on occasion, but he did crack some good one liners, and his Gerry Adams rant was superb.
