Just some information for the flat and cloudy drinkers on here. The Albatross (RAFA) Club in Bexhill is holding a Real Ale Beer Festival this Friday, Saturday and Sunday with about 16 beers. There is apparently no entrance charge and all beers are £2.60 per pint which include Dark Star Six Hop and Thornbridge Jaipur

Open to non members and no admission charge

Ascot Anastasia Imperial Stout 8%
Thornbridge Jaipur 5.9%
Rother Valley Exit 5.7%
Thornbridge Kipling 5.2%
Dark Star Carafa Jade 5%
Binhams Space Hopper IPA 5%
Liverpool Organic Josephine Butler 4.5%
Ossett Big Red 4%
Rooster Wild Mule 3.9%
Brodies Bethnal Green 4%
Tynebank Jamaca Mild 4%
Ilkley Joshua Jane 3.7%
Ilkley Mary Jane 3.5%
Redemption Trinity 3%
Plus others ??

All £2.60 pint

Blinking flip! An 8% beer for £2.60 a pop!! Are they even allowed to do that?

Quite! Jaipur, Kipling and 6 Hop at £2.60 is an accident waiting to happen!

I'm both disappointed and relieved that I'm nowhere near Bexhill or I'd be in a world of trouble.

19th (Friday) - 21st (Sunday) St Georges Day Festival, George and Dragon Tarring Village. Friday and Saturday 11am - midnight, Stanislauski's Polka Band and Andy Woon's Jazz Band in the afternoon
Sunday 12 noon to 10.30pm (Ale in a Tent)
Beer festival at the George and Dragon Tarring this weekend if your in the Worthing area.

Have they now got a general licence rather than a club members certificate to allow non members to buy drinks in a members club.

Its on the sea front, adjacent to the De La Warr Pavillion car park. At the bottom of Devonshire Road (The main shopping street) across the sea front road and Channel View West is the extension of Devonsire Road leading onto the promenade. The Albatross is on the left
