ANDREA Orlandi has got that promotion feeling again after scoring Albion's opening goal in the 2-0 victory at Middlesbrough.
Orlandi was part of the Swansea squad which went up to the Premier League via the play-offs two seasons ago and the Spanish midfielder is now sensing a repeat with the Seagulls.
Orlandi said: “It’s quite similar really because of the way we play. We find it hard at times, because teams are physical and we cannot play as much as we would like to.
“I am getting these feelings back. It’s not a bad feeling because we (Swansea) got promoted eventually, so hopefully we are going to do it here. It looks a little bit like that season, so fingers crossed.”
Former Barcelona prospect Orlandi reckons Argentinian target man Leo Ulloa has added a new dimension to Albion’s challenge.
He said: “We follow, at our level, the footsteps of Barcelona. We want to play football from the back. Sometimes we can’t and we have to be more direct.
“We’ve got the striker (Ulloa) up front now, who helps us a lot in that style, but when the ball is down we’ve got players to play around teams and really create something.”
Casper Ankergren is on standby to deputise for Tomasz Kuszczak again at in-form Peterborough tomorrow night after the Polish keeper missed the Boro match with an elbow infection.
