Football violence all over the place, thatcher causing turbulence, Argentina rattling sabres, strikes, economy in the bog...who says things don't go in cycles.

I'm looking forward to us getting the the cup final in a couple of years following a promotion,at Palaces expense, into the top flight.

Shit. I've got my o levels in a couple of years. Still, I'll lose my cherry to a bird called Tracy soon as well. I'll try and put in a better performance this time.

An epidemic of measles in Swansea.

I gave a few people chickenpox at my christening before all the jabs were invented. :lolol:

Was he the one in the British Caledonian replica shirt?

I'm sure you've seen this when it was on the telly...

My brother showed it to him a few months before he died.

Did you know him? or me/my brother come to that?.

I'm glad he got to see himself before he died. Sadly, I didn't know him. I'm familiar with the footage only because it was one of the few Albion bits and pieces I had on VHS back in the 1990s. How long did he work in the club shop for?

Serile memories from that time. The Sunday after the first game my dad took my brother and I down to the ground. While he worked (as a volunteer) we sat in the office nextdoor. In come bamber a few players and so on even Moseley turning up on his push bike! We helped collect the money which by this was covering the floor. It was on a table to which Bamber remarked if we had ever seen such an amount. ( he then picked it all up and run off with it. Honest Guv.)

Good memories for a 15 year old.

He didn't! He was a lottery agent and got involved with the lottery draws on a Monday night at pubs around Sussex. A good friend of Fred woolven Ray and Ron he offered to help. He took a lot of time off work!
