ENGLISH Cup Semi-Final - TWO English players

Makes me frigging angry. Bloody foreign players. And two foreign managers.

A quick glance seems to indicate only Milner and Barry are English. Chelsea have not one English player on the pitch.

It's OUR FA Cup. There should be a requirement for at least 6 English players per team.

Someone is inevitably going to say, what about the Albion and all our foreign players and our foreign manager? Well, truthfully I wish we had more English players.

Cracking game though.

What would you suggest for Cardiff or Swansea? Should they be forced to have six English players or six Welsh players?

And neither of the two you mention are particularly top class.

Perhaps a better question to ask is why are oversees players so much more skilful and talented that our inferior home grown players.

That and the prices £8 million for Jordan Rhodes and lets not even start on andy Carroll

Bridcutt is English. He just qualifies for Scotland, he is not Scottish

I want us to have the best players available to us, I couldn't give a tinker's toss where they were born.

As would most right thinking fans. I'd like to think the OP was fishing, but unfortunately I don't think he was.

There should be a requirement for at least 6 English players per team.

This is just political correctness gone mad, artificially propping up uncompetitive English players who aren't good enough. And what are these English players (who are only able to get into the side because of these quotas) going to do against more skilful foreign players once they're out on the pitch? Are they going to be allowed to handle the ball so they don't get their arses whipped?

That's crazy talk from a crazy man.

Even if there wasn't a huge financial gap between 'us and them', the talent gap alone has me hoping Gus does all his shopping duty free, this summer.

I suspect the OP and Porkie secretly want Russell Slade, Chris Holroyd and Mark Walton back, tried and tested ENGLISH stars.
